Action Jackson arrives in California...
Dear Friends,
Thank you for coming to my site. Please join me in making a difference in the lives of the Maasai community, where I have lived and served for many years. I hope one day you will all come to the Maasai Mara, meet the wonderful people here and see our beautiful country.
Since I arrived in America, I am meeting so many good hearted people in Los Angeles who are helping to fund raise for the new clinic that is being built now in Talek Village and to help for my schooling here.
I also want to say thank you to all the new people I am meeting on Facebook from around the world, for your kindness and your support. Each day I will try to tell you stories of what is happening here and of the Maasai Tribe. Please say hello.. And again, thank you so much for whatever you are able to give.
Asante Sana.

My name is Shelly Stevens. I live in Los Angeles and have read about you in the LA Times. My 13 year old daughter, Ruby, has created an email and is going to send it out to try to raise money to pay for your flight school expenses. She hopes to raise enough money, so she can also send donations to your clinic.
I hope she can do it! I think that she can.
You have inspired her and our family, and we want to help you if we can.
I have spoken to Jim at the flight school, and he is also helping us to organize the money that we hope to bring in.
We think you are an amazing person in this world and we hope to help and support you.
all the best,
Shelly
Keep up.
It was so good to be in touch again since I met you strolling along Ocean Park Ave. watching the sun go down. I am looking forward to sharing the sites with you and introducing you to some of my family. I hope to help with the endeavor of raising funds for your clinic and other needs of your community. I can't wait to see you fly a balloon. Till we meet again, Mara
It takes a lot of courage to attempt such a big dream as to become a balloon pilot... and to come to America for the first time. You have sacrificed so much to support the work in the clinic and to help so many people. I know more will hear your story and help you accomplish your dream.
Sending you Blessings every day!!!
